It has been a crazy couple of weeks, we officially built and released the first version of the brand Prospect Academy MMA App on the new platform for testing. We had around 10 users move over from our old platform to this new platform to try out the mobile app. The best thing about testing is that you are using someone else's eyes who has never seen the app before and pick up on everything we have over looked.
What was the feedback of the Prospect Academy MMA App?
We received lots of feedback which has been super constructive so we thank everyone who came on board for a first look. We made many improvements but here are some of the most important pieces we improved:
Video buffering: We took this one the most serious, so serious we packed our bags and left our current video hosting provider. The admin behind this has been insane, hundreds of videos re-uploaded to the new provider. This new provider specalises on video hosting and the buffering has been eliminated. You can also choose the video quality all the way up to 4k, with subtitles and transcripts.
Course Discovery: Our testers struggled to find our MMA Master Course, so we made sure we have added filters as well as category selection to find the courses for you.
Instructor Bio: Our testers wanted to learn more about the instructors on our site, we made sure under the "Useful Links" tab, we added a direct link to our instructor profiles so you can learn all about them.
There has been much more feedback and implantations across the site and app but these for Prospect Academy were our main 3.
So we want to thank everyone involved in the testing for making the app a better place for everyone and we are super excited to share the future with all of you!
